Custom Design
Whether it is an old piece of jewelry or a new item that needs to be made, White Mountain Jeweler's specialty is making original custom designs. WMJ works with yellow gold, white gold, platinum, in 14K or 18K to make your dream piece. (We even work with silver jewelry.) Peter Tims is very proficient with the latest technology for making custom designs. He has won awards for creating custom one-of-a kind pieces.
We select the best metals, diamonds, and colored stones for clients. We want to provide our clients with a product they can be proud of and pass down for generations to come!
Repairs
WMJ replaces watch batteries, sizes rings,
re-tips prongs, and even repairs eyeglasses. We are a one-stop shop to give our clients exactly what they need for metal, stone, and custom repairs. We offer superior jewelry repair utilizing the precision and safety of a laser welding machine. This machine makes repairs possible and more cost-effective for you. Recent advances in laser technology allow us to restore and repair vintage jewelry. These advances allow us to safely work on jewelry with heat-sensitive gemstones. Don't be shy to ask because no job is too big or too small for us to handle!
Engraving
WMJ offers engraving to our clients to personalize almost any piece of jewelry. Make sure to ask our associates for ideas. The computerized equipment that WMJ uses will engrave on almost anything (metal, glass, wood, cardboard, leather, etc.) with dozens of font styles, personal signatures, company logos, and hand written notes.
Appraisals
WMJ provides the opportunity for an accurate appraisal of your precious jewelry. We want to make sure your jewelry has information that is up to date just in case it is stolen, lost, or in a tragic accident. Prices fluctuate each month for precious metals, diamonds, and colored stones. This is why insurance companies suggest an updated appraisal every five years for your benefit. At our store, you get the services of a GIA and AGA-certified gemologist not associated with WMJ.

Sometimes it is not convenient for you to pay the full price for your new jewelry at one time. We have a five month, interest free, layaway plan available for new purchases, custom jewelry manufacturing, and special orders.

As you know, it is impossible for a jewelry store to stock every conceivable selection that you may want. We maintain an extensive collection of catalogs and contacts throughout the jewelry industry in order to special order any item you desire.
Rush Service
To offer the best prices and the best quality, we need to schedule repair work. If you need something repaired quickly, we do have a "rush service" available for a nominal fee.

We carry over fifty sizes of batteries in stock at all times. In only a few minutes we can install new batteries in your watch while you wait.
